3. Types of request (KVKK Art. 11)
- (a) Learn whether your personal data is processed.
- (b) Ask for information if it is processed.
- (c) Learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly.
- (ç) Know the recipients in Turkey or abroad.
- (d) Ask for correction if data is incomplete or wrong.
- (e) Ask for deletion or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Art. 7.
- (f) Ask for (d) and (e) to be notified to the recipients.
- (g) Object to a result against you produced solely by automated analysis.
- (ğ) Claim compensation for unlawful processing.
4. Time limit and identity check
We answer within 30 days, free of charge; if the work needs extra cost, the fee in the Board's tariff may be charged. We do not routinely ask for a photo of an ID document; we ask for more information only if we cannot verify your identity another way. A power of attorney is needed to apply for someone else.
If you find the answer insufficient or get none in time, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Board within 30 days of learning the answer and in any case within 60 days of your request (KVKK Art. 14).
